Makala Vaungh

Makala Vaungh was a summer camp coach who decided to continue coaching this semester

What made you decide to be a camp coach?

I decided to be a camp coach because I really enjoyed working with the children in the summer and it was fun to see how the younger generation is really into media so I wanted to use my experience to help others and educate the youth about journalism and media.

What was your favorite part of camp?

My favorite part of camp was going to wish tv and the showcase because it allowed the children to see real life action and how intrigued they were to see it. The showcase was really fun and interactive.

What was your best memory from camp?

My favorite memory from camp was the showcase because it allowed the parents to see everything we worked on during the week and seeing the parents smiles on there face made it worth it.
